Night of Glitz, Glamour as Tobi  Adegboyega Celebrates Birthday

Pastor Tobi Adegboyega marked his 43rd Birthday this year with a spectacular weekend of celebrations in London. The “11:11 Weekender” was a display of nothing short of the strength of the family and its leadership.

Kicking off with The W ‘Super Car Rally’ in London’s most prestigious location, Park Lane, people gathered in their hundreds to witness the world’s most iconic supercars on Sunday morning.

Tobi, alongside the leaders, took to the start line before a thrilling ride through famous London streets and landmarks from Mayfair through to Knightsbridge, Kensington, Belgravia, and Piccadilly. 

Along the route, dozens of spectators eagerly awaited the arrival of the convoy which included Ferrari and Lamborghini supercars. 

At the finish line in Pall Mall, hundreds of spectators queued to see the cars and to take pictures with Tobi. Also present on the day was a formidable force of The Nation Family and its leadership standing as a greater display of excellence. 

The day continued to an evening of inspiration and celebration marked by the New Faces Awards. This was sponsored by The W Online Magazine at the renowned JW Marriott Grosvenor House, on Park Lane, London.

The New Faces Awards was established to honour trailblazers and visionaries who have made an impact in their various fields. The night hosted about 500 guests including CEOs, philanthropists, innovators, creatives and more. 

It was a star-studded line up at the red carpet with paparazzi including Getty images and a champagne reception right until the doors of the dazzling ballroom opened. 

The evening commenced with Music Nxtion giving a world-class performance that had guests on their feet throughout the night accompanied by the evening’s winners gracing the stage to receive their awards across fifteen categories. 

After the grandeur of the New Faces Awards ceremony, the celebration for Tobi reached its zenith with an exclusive after-party hosted in one of London’s most opulent hotels. The Family, adorned in its usual sophisticated attire, immersed themselves in an evening of unrestrained joy.

The venue pulsed with an eclectic mix of music, featuring a DJ and live performances such as the highly anticipated Nigerian band, Solek opening the ceremony and Kwam1 who also gave an outstanding performance. A vibrant tapestry of cultures filled the room as young people from diverse backgrounds came together to revel in the festivities of the evening. 

Guests came from around the world to celebrate Tobi, including distinguished personalities from Nigeria such as King Saheed Elugushi; Akinsuku of Lagos; Daddy Freeze, and his wife Tastebudz; Olori Ronke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi, and Princess Aderonke Adejonwo. Also in attendance were celebrities such as Eniola Badmus, Real Housewives of Lagos’ Tiannah, Actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Ubi Franklin, Smade and Bad Guy Toba.

One of the highlights of the night was the uproarious moments fueled by a bottomless drinks bar serving to keep spirits high throughout the celebration. 

The atmosphere was further enriched by cultural traditions, including the lively tossing of money, creating unforgettable scenes echoing the unity within The Fxmily.

The after-party not only encapsulated the jubilant spirit of the 11:11 Weekender but also provided Tobi with a memorable occasion to enjoy alongside The Fxmily. 

It was an exuberant conclusion to a weekend filled with remarkable events, solidifying the significance of the celebration in honour of Tobi.
