Tinubu Chairs FEC Meeting, Swears in Olaopa, Aliyu as Chairmen of FCSC, ICPC 

.Administers oath of office on 11 FCSC members

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday presided over the first meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) in December 2023.

The meeting holding at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja, was preceeded by the swearing in of Chairman of the Independent  Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr Musa Adamu Aliyu (SAN).

It was followed by that of Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), Prof Tunji Olaopa and 11 members of the Commission.

FCSC members sworn in by President Tinubu include Dr Ibrahim Daudu, Obong Ededet Eyoma, Dr Chamberlain Nwele, Mr Rufus Godwin, Dr Useni Adamu and Ambassador Aminu Mademu.

Others are Mrs Nnatu Abdullahi, Alhaji Shehu Aliyu, Mrs Rukayat Odekunle, Princess Sarah Sosan and Dr Festus Oyebade.

The President personally administered the oath of office on the new appointees whose appointments were recently confirmed by the Senate in accordance with the provisions of 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (As amended).

Those attending the FEC meeting include Vice President Kashim Shettima, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume; Chief of Staff to the President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, and National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

Ministers attending the meeting include that of FCT, Nyesom Wike; Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; Works, Dave Umahi; Budget and National Planning, Bagudu Abubakar; Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris; and Humanitarian Affairs, Dr  Betty Edu.
