Firm Launches Networking Programme to Boost Female Entrepreneurship

Reap & Arcenciel Limited has concluded arrangements to strengthen the culture of entrepreneurship among African women through financial advisory, networking and fund-raising support.

This was disclosed by the company’s Head of Operations, Mr. Oluseye Ayinde, during a networking session on funding opportunities for female entrepreneurs, held recently in Lagos.

Reap & Arcenciel, a member of the R & A Group, is a management consulting, financial advisory and media service organisation.

Ayinde, said the company’s desire to promote the cause of female entrepreneurship was borne of its experience dealing with female business owners, who according to him, “are better managers of resources than many of their male counterparts.”.

He noted that given more opportunities, women could provide the platform for positive economic transformation across the African continent, particularly if availed the right mix of financial and management support.

Ayinde further noted that the company would soon unveil a management support model called 4Ms, designed exclusively by the firm for women interested in obtaining the money, management support, market access and modern methodology required to thrive and compete in the marketplace.

He concluded by saying the company’s ultimate aim was to develop several women-owned businesses that would be listed on local and international exchanges, and ready to compete in the global stage with quality products and superior returns delivered to shareholders.
