It’s easy to see why artiste Seyi Vibez, born Balogun Afolabi Oluwaseyi, has captured the hearts of the ‘streets’, since his emergence in the industry as he continues to drop songs back to back. The fast-rising Afrobeats sensation released a new single he calls ‘Hat-Trick’. The single he dropped on May 29, 2023, is an Amapiano sound that packs Seyi Vibez’s Street cadences.

Since Seyi Vibez broke into the mainstream in 2022 with his hit single ‘Chance’, he has become one of the artists whose music is bringing excitement to the Afrobeats scene. Seyi Vibez had earlier teased the single on his Instagram account and the video generated a lot of attention from listeners who drew continuous comparisons with Asake.

The song is the ‘Billion Dollar Baby’s’ second release of 2023 coming as he sets to continue his fine form which has made him one of Afrobeats’ hottest artists. The singer recently took to his Instagram page to share the date for his upcoming 2023 London show. The show which is slated for August 11, 2023, will be taking place at the Indigo O2 and the presale tickets will be available from June 2nd.

With his upcoming O2 show, he joins Nigerian superstars including Burna Boy, Asake, and Rema set to perform in the UK in the coming months. It’s been a great year for Seyi Vibez who released his ‘Memory Card’ EP in January and also featured on songs with Zlatan and BNXN. “My sound is just afro soul, some Fela Kuti vibe, some Islamic vibe, some celestial thing. It’s a mixture of a lot of things.”

“I would describe my sound as Afro-soul. I do conscious music a lot, anyone that knows Seyi Vibez knows me with a lot of conscious sounds, so when I started doing the South African Amapiano to my fusion, I started putting my conscious sound on it, even though there are fast beats, there are slow beats, I started adding my conscious sounds to it so that makes it more of my genre.”
