Kabba Explosion: Aliyu Commiserates with Obaro of Kabba, Victims, Others

The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has expressed shock and sadness over the explosion that rocked a relaxation centre in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, Kogi State, killing two persons and injuring several others.  

In a statement yesterday, the minister condoled Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Olowoniyi and the families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.

Aliyu prayed that God in His infinite mercy would grant the families of the victims fortitude to bear the great loss.  

She said: “I am deeply saddened by the news of the explosion that occurred in your kingdom and the terrible loss of two lives. I express my sincere sympathy to you and the families of the victims.  

“This is indeed a great loss that you and your entire kingdom of Kabba in particular and Kogi State in general have encountered. I offer you my thoughts and prayers during this dark time in your kingdom. 

“Please accept my condolences. Do not hesitate to reach out, especially during this difficult time,” the said in the statement.

Aliyu wished those recuperating at various hospitals speedy recovery, calling on security agencies “to thoroughly investigate the remote causes of the explosion with a view to preventing a recurrence.” 

The minister assured the victims of her support and goodwill as they recuperate.
