Tobems Media Marks 10th Anniversary, Expands Footprint

Creative and Marketing Media agency, Tobems Media has expanded its scope of business with the launch of Luova Group.

The expansion was announced at the occasion of the organisation’s 10th anniversary that held in Lagos recently.

According to the organisation, Luova Group, a holding company acts as the parent company to Tobems Media, Tobems Production, and newly launched marketing-innovation company, Trois Sitini.

It noted that the event was a dual celebration of the agency’s last 10 years of operations and a projection of its next 10 years.

Speaking at the well-attended event, President of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Idorenyin Enang commended the management members of the organisation on their feats in ten years of operations.

While delivering an address on the theme of the event, “The future of marketing”, Enang represented by the Group head, mobile financial services, Interswitch, Lanre Basamta outlined the characters of the marketer for the future to include being a “problem discoverer.”

He said, “The person who discovers a problem, deserves the right to solve it. The future is such that we have to be much more than marketers, we have to be problem discoverers, we have to be partners.

“The marketer of the future is not just one that creates the spiciest campaigns but the one who understands not just the customer, but the customer’s impulses.”

Chief Growth Officer of Trois Sitini, Bolaji Junaid spotlighted the company’s journey in the last ten years, making reference to how his vast experience from different organisations he had worked with, added to the company’s growth.

On his part, CEO and Creative Director of Tobems Media, Tosin Obembe recounted how the company evolved in the last ten years.

He said, “When I started Tobems Media, the idea was to continually turn value to products. I decided to evolve from just video editing and camera to multimedia. Our production company that started out with just one camera and a laptop has transformed to Luova Group which now has Tobems Media, Tobems Production, and Trois Sitini, an all-rounder marketing innovation company. This is our own way of influencing and changing the world; it is the reason why Luova has started, it is the reason why we are here, and it is same reason we started Tobems Media.”

In his address, a Member of the House of Representatives who was also the Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Shina Peller, hailed the efforts of the organisation’s team for how they have been able to push the firm to its present status.
