Shoprite Gives Facelift to Ota Store

Ketron Investment Limited, the new owners of Shoprite has revamped the Shoprite store in Ota, Ogun State to enhance customers experience with the store.

This is happening barely two months after Ketron investment completed the acquisition of Shoprite Nigeria in line with the brand’s strategy to change from an ownership model to a franchise model.

The opening of the store was accompanied by product sampling activities, activations and special promotions on specific products.

According to the organisation, the move was in fulfilment of its promise for a better shopping experience to existing and new customers.

Speaking, Chairman of Ketron Investment Limited, Tayo Amusan expressed optimism that the changes made would attract more shoppers to the store. He said, “Beyond giving the store a proper facelift, we have also made key changes that will ensure that shoppers can easily pick up items they need and have a stress-free shopping experience.”

Chief Executive Officer of MBO, Jide Ogundare also described the move as smart once considering the return such would yield to the organisation.

Jide Ogundare, CEO of MBO Capital, described the investment made into revamping the Ota Store as a smart one given the increase in footfall it will bring.

Launched in Lagos in December 2005, Shoprite owns 25 outlets across 11 states and the FCT.
