Softcom Rolls Out New Products to Empower African Entrepreneurs

With its mission to continually accelerate inclusion and growth for African entrepreneurs and businesses through ingenious tech products, innovation and technology company, Softcom Limited, recently held a pre launch event themed ‘Unveiling X’, to announce its array of new products which is now available.

The event which was held at Softcom’s headquarters in Ikeja GRA assembled entrepreneurs and influencers from different sectors that cut across tech, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, food, and retail, to deliver an in-depth lecture on the purpose, functionality, benefits of the products, and how it will improve transactions and evaluate progress easily.

In an onboarding session on the company’s rise in the tech landscape, the CEO of Softcom, Yomi Adedeji, elaborated on the company’s earliest innovative phases since its inception in 2007, and the subsequent growth it achieved amid crushing challenges it faced. He ended the lecture by explaining the purpose and ideologies that inspired the company to design and build solutions to enable growth for entrepreneurs in Africa.

The company’s Chief Operating Officer, Seindemi Olobayo in a highly engaging discussion session, said that the company has a reputation for solving complex business problems. “X represents answers to the problems of entrepreneurs on all growth levels and our steps in empowering them with an ecosystem of tools to succeed and reach their full potential.”

He continued: “When you have the tools that you need, you can identify people better, you can sell better, you have an account of your money. In a lot of cases, it is just being able to understand how to combine different elements. In the innovating process, we built around critically looking into our journey and carrying out extensive researches to properly reflect it on businesses to figure out when to start, stop, or continue a particular process with these products”

Furthermore, the company says its products will enable people and businesses to address the need to exchange value and data collation on consumer behaviours.

Executive Secretary of the MTN Foundation, Nonny Ugboma expressed confidence in the company’s ambitious moves.

“Watching them grow over the years as a team of young brilliant people, I have just been in awe. I believe that X is just going to be something else, I am fully on board with them because I know they are dreamers and thinkers.”
