‘My Mother’s Daughter,’ the autobiographical book by Chief Taiwo Taiwo is set for Nigerian as well as global audience on Amazon, Apple Books and other online platforms. The book that x-rays the life journey and experiences of Chief Taiwo Taiwo, the Chairman, Lexham Investments (Owners of Shonny Investment & Properties) Trustee, who is also the Founding and Immediate past Chairman of Atlantic Hall. On her feathers of achievement also lies the position of Chairman for the Aart of Life foundation which was launched in February 2021.

‘My Mother’s Daughter’ offers valuable insights in inter-generational Female Entrepreneurship and Mentorship, whilst drumming the importance of mentorship for young entrepreneurs.

As a young lady who was thrown into the family business in her early 20s after finishing school in England, her experience in entrepreneurship, as well as her roles as a vibrant activist in society constitute the expertise which she tapped from in running Atlantic Hall Secondary School, Aart of Life Foundation etc. This is considered to be very valuable to young girls and middle age women of the present generation.

Now 70 years old, Chief Mrs Taiwo Taiwo pays tribute to her mother, Mrs. Alice Olaperi Shonibare with this book for being instrumental in her successful career. The author was born into a family of eight children with a father who was of an innovative businessman of his time. The author’s father died at 44 and the mother had the duty to raise all eight children whilst growing the business the father started into an empire of sorts.
