Former ECOMOG Commander, Lt. General Joshua Nimyel Dogonyaro, is dead.
He died Thursday at the age of 80 at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), Jos.
A family source confirmed his demise, saying “the General died in the early hour of today (Thursday) at Jo’s University Teaching Hospital where he was admitted after a brief illness”
He added that his remains had been deposited at tge Airforce Hospital in Jos.
His aide, Major Gabriel Adofiku (rtd), also confirmed his death, saying “he died today at about 3:30 am.”
