Kogi West PDP Congratulates Winners of N’Assembly Election

The Kogi West chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State has congratulated the senator-elect for the zone, Senator Dino Melaye, and the member-elect of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Yusuf, for emerging victorious in the recent National Assembly election.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Chairman of PDP in Kogi West senatorial zone, Mr. Taiwo Kola-Ojo, the party also congratulated the PDP members and supporters across the zone for their collective and  resounding victory at the National Assembly and presidential elections, saying the victory was well deserved.

“There is no doubt that Kogi West people’s vote  for our great party reflect their appreciation of our law makers who have been working assiduously at improving their living conditions thereby putting smile on their faces.  The presidential and National Assembly elections showed that Kogi West is – and will always remain – a true and solid home of the PDP, having again delivered our senatorial district to the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Senator Dino Melaye and Hon. Tajudeen Yusuf,” Kola-Ojo said.

The PDP chairman called on the people of Kogi State to come out massively in the March 9 elections to vote for the PDP and also protect their votes against what he described as “the antics of the ruling party, especially at the various collation centres”.

“My people should again note that  a vote for the PDP is for: full and constant salary and pension payment;               employment opportunities; massive infrastructural development; freeing  Kogi from hunger , abject poverty and untimely death; and freedom from insecurity, intimidation, harassment andoppression,” Kola-Ojo added.
