Less than 10 minutes after reconvening from recess, the House of Representatives has again embarked on another recess till March 12.
The Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara attributed the adjournment to the inability of the House to form required quorum as there were only about 10 lawmakers, including the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Lasun Yusuf, House Leader, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business, Hon. Edward Pwajok in the green chamber.
The House of Representatives, last month adjourned plenary in January to Tuesday, February 19, but shifted the resumption of plenary by one week after the postponement of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
