Francis Sardauna in Katsina
President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Party (APC) has won the Saturday’s Presidential election in Katsina state after scoring 1, 232, 133.
He defeated his closest opponent, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 308, 056.
The Collation Officer for the election in the state, Prof. Fatima Mukhtar, who declared the results on Monday night, said Buhari won all the 34 local government areas.
Mukhtar, who is the Vice Chancellor, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa state, announced the results scored by the two candidates in each local government thus:
