Olubunmi Odekunle Plans Big, Pushes His Course Around Africa

Olubunmi Odekunle is a Social and Tech Entrepreneur who works earnestly to solve social problems and improve public service delivery with technology. He is currently the Co-Founder/Executive Director of Sabon Africa Development Network (SADEN). A pan-African youth led organisation with presence in Nigeria, Kenya, Cameroon and the Republic of Benin with members from the 55 countries under the African Union.

He believes social work is more of a calling than a profession. His passion for working and helping others succeed inspired him into social work. He gets to see young people struggle with life almost everyday especially from this part of the world where we live. He feels there is a missing link he had to fill. He believes a life that negates the service of others is wasted. Social work has given him the opportunity to empower, motivate, connect, and encourage resilience.

His company has done quite a number of projects in Nigeria, Kenya and the Republic of Benin, as part of the mandate to advocate for issues which mitigate the development and growth of the African continent especially poverty. They have impacted more than 200 vulnerable young adults in Nigeria, Kenya and Benin through training in technical skills, financial literacy, ICT and leadership skills.

Olubunmi and his team plans to impact as many lives as possible under the African continent. He sees himself as a connector and a solution provider.
