The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described its victory in the Osun State governorship rerun as a signpost of the popularity of the change agenda of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
In a statement issued by the acting National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabene, the party said it was truly a tough contest and a hard-fought win for its candidate, Gboyega Oyetola.
“The Osun governorship victory is another morale boosting victory in the lead up to the 2019 General Elections and solid attestation of the people’s support for the Change Agenda of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC Change administration,” it said.
The party also accused the Peoples Democratic Party of making spirited attempts to rig and disrupt the election.
