President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday night in Abuja asked governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to mobilise delegates for the return of
National Secretary of APC, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, at the forthcoming convention of the party later this month.
A source privy to the information said following Buhari’s endorsement while breaking fast with the governors in the Villa last Monday night, Buni was set to retain his position.
The source said Buhari sought the governors’ support for Buni’s return
following information he had that governors in the North-east states had endorsed him.
He also said the North-east to which the office was zoned had unanimously passed a vote of confidence in Buni.
