Vertiv, TD Collaborate on Power Protection for African Market

Vertiv, formerly Emerson Network Power, has partnered Technology Distributions Ltd. (TD), a foremost Information and Communication Technology (ICT) distributors across Africa to boost power protection for the African market.

The alliance aims to act as a meeting point between ICT resellers seeking UPS reliability and protection for their customer’s sensitive Information Technology (IT) equipment. The alliance has also been described by IT experts as a strategic move to leverage on the strength of TD’s turn-key support capabilities and understanding of their customer’s needs.

Under the partnership, TD will deliver Vertiv’s uninterruptible power systems (UPS), power distribution units (PDU), racks and accessories, coupled with an unprecedented level of specialist consultancy and after-sales support within the region.

In her welcome address, Coordinating Managing Director, TD, Mrs. Chioma Chimere highlighted some key challenges confronting individuals and businesses in Nigeria, especially the erratic nature of power supply. She further encouraged participants to take advantage of Vertiv products and services, while assuring them of guaranteed maximum protection and TD’s support.

On the essence of the partnership, Group Executive Director, TD, Mr. Stanley Okpalaeke affirmed that TD holds its partners in high esteem and will never hesitate to go the extra mile for them. He explained that as the largest provider of credit in the ICT sector, the company’s relationship with its over 3,500 partners is secure and firm.
