Four Killed, Seven Injured in Suicide Attack on Borno Town

Four persons were killed and seven others injured in a suicide bomb attack on Konduga, a town in Borno State, the state Police Commissioner Damian Chukwu said on Monday.

The police commissioner told journalists that two suicide bombers attacked a village in Konduga, killing two others and wounding seven persons.

He said the attack occurred at Mashimari village on the outskirts of Konduga town on Sunday.

He told journalists that: “Yes, there was suicide attack in Konduga community yesterday, the bombers found their way into the community, of course blew up selves and two other civilians were equally killed while seven other civilians were injured.”

An hospital source told THISDAY that the victims were brought to the State Specialist Hospital at about 9am on Monday, and are currently receiving treatment.
