The management of Smile Communications Nigeria Limited has clarified that it has never defaulted on its loan obligations.
The company, in a statement through it PR consultant in response to THISDAY’s story titled: ‘$125m Loan Default Threatens Smile Communications’ Operations’, said the story was “a ploy to derail the ongoing investigative hearing on the 9mobile acquisition bid process currently ongoing at the House of Representatives Committee on Telecommunications.â€
