Waje, Idia Aisen, Uriel Find their  Shade at  Black Opal Tea Party

The Black Opal Tea Party, organised by Black Opal Nigeria was a social gathering for influencers, make-up artists and all round beauty enthusiasts in Lagos State. It was distinctively engineered to promote the Black Opal Cosmetic brand and push its products to a larger audience and market.  It held recently at the Kuddy Cosmetics store in Silverbird Gallaria, Victoria Island, Lagos.

In attendance were Black Opal Nigeria Ambassadors; Tolani Aremu and Lillian Paul, the winner of Face of Black Opal Nigeria 2017; Precious Okoye, Face of Black Opal Nigeria 2016; Idia Aisen, Nigerian Celebrities and Influencers such as Waje, Abimbola Craig, Kaylah Oniwo, Afua Osei Makida Moka, Latasha Ngwube, Shade Falade, and Uriel, Beauty bloggers such as Deola Adebiyi (Omogemura), and a whole lot of other gorgeous women and men. Media coverage was handled by Box TV and other platforms such as Accelerate TV, Guardian and Vanguard Allure were also in attendance. 

The event kicked off with a master class on beauty, makeup and skincare, coordinated by Black Opal Nigeria Ambassadors; Tolani, Lillian and Shade. Guests learned that the Black Opal brand was developed with a leading board certified dermatologist, with state of the art formulations of skin care products that are safe for sensitive and non–conedogeic skin. Black Opal cosmetics are specially formulated to treat skin of colour with a full range of skin tone true shades of foundation and skin care products. 

The audience was given tips on how to find their foundation and powder shades with Black Opal after which a question and answer session followed.

 Tolani was able to demonstrate the process of ‘finding your shade’ with Celebrity musician, Waje. Other guests also had fun matching their skin tones with the right shade of Black Opal beauty products. 

There were also delectable appetizers, finger-food and drinks made available for guests at the party. Guests ate, socialised, took lots of beautiful photographs and guests were able to shop the best of make-up and skin care products on display at the Kuddy Cosmetics store. “Black Opal is the beauty destination for women of colour. Its consistency is good and the finishing is even better,” Tolani said.
