NYSC: Tawose’s Killer Must Be Brought to Book

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) thursday promised the family of the deceased Corps member, Tawose Modupe Busola OG/17A/2854, that her alleged killer, Mr. Festus Udoh, would be brought to book and that the scheme would continue to protect its corps members.

This was disclosed by Mr. John Okpo, the schemes state’s Coordinator in Ogun State who led a delegation of the service to commiserate with the late corps member’s family.

According to NYSC “Okpo told the family of the deceased that management of the scheme was working to ensure that the perpetrator of the heinous crime is brought to book and added that it will continue to protect and defend the rights of corps members.”

In commiserating with the family, Okpo said the entire NYSC was grieved over the incident that led to the demise of the corps member and strongly condemned the act.

“Okpo said the entire NYSC family was grieved over the incidence that led to the demise of the late corps member and condemned the act in its totality,” the NYSC stated in a statement.

Mr. Hakeem Okunola, an uncle to the deceased, appreciated NYSC management for the visit and its prompt action which led to the arrest of the alleged killer.

According to NYSC, the late Tawose Modupe Busola was until her death on December 9, a 2017 Batch A’ corps member serving in Ogun State.
