NBA Ilorin Honours Ayo Salami, National Pilot MD, Five Others

Former President Court of Appeal, Justice Isa Ayo Salami (rtd), was among the seven worthy members of the public who last weekend received meritorious award in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Those who also received meritorious awards are: The Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief, National Pilot Newspaper, Alhaji Billy Adedamola; Kwara State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Kamaldeen Ajibade (SAN) and the Founder, Alhikma University, Alhaji Abdulraheem Oladimeji.
The Dean, Faculty of Law, Igbinedion University, Professor Rasheed Ijaodola, Proprietor of Crown Hill University, Mr. Morgan Frank Akpan and the President, Kam Industries, Alhaji Kamrudeen Ibitoye Yusuf.

The awards were presented during the 2017 annual bar dinner of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ilorin Branch.
Speaking at the colourful event held at the Banquet Hall, Ilorin, the Chairman of NBA, Ilorin Branch, Issa Manzuma stated that the awardees were singled out for honour given their contribution to development of humanity and the nation

He noted that the individuals had distinguished themselves in their various field of endeavours, hence the need to recognise them.
According to him, the award is a way of appreciating and reciprocating their contributions to the development of the society.

Present at the ceremony which attracted dignitaries from across the country were the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, represented by the state Commissioner for Water Resources, Mr. Muideen Akorede.
Others were legal luminaries, captains of industries and academics.
