Champions Plateau United will begin their title defence at next-door neighbours Nasarawa United, while Katsina United will welcome Kano Pillars in another epic northern derby on the opening game of the 2018 NPFL season on January 14.
This followed Sunday’s fixtures draw in Kano.
Plateau United made history last season when they won the NPFL crown for the first time.
Last season, Pillars and Katsina United reignited a long drawn rivalry in the Premier League.
Pillars won at home last term, before Katsina United avenged the defeat in Katsina.
In other opening day fixtures, Rivers United will be home to El Kanemi Warriors, Kwara United against Niger Tornadoes, Akwa United versus Enugu Rangers and Lobi Stars square up against Enyimba in Makurdi.
The first week action will also see FC Ifeanyiubah clash with newly promoted Yobe Desert Stars in Nnewi, newly promoted Heartland hosts Sunshine Stars and Abia Warriors will take on MFM FC in Umuahia.
