Artyrama Hosts Digital Art Gallery

Africa’s premier online gallery, Artyrama  is set to  host an experiential digital art gallery,  launching a collection of contemporary African art by 10 emerging artists curated by renowned art critic, Jess Castellote.

The art firm has also announced plans to  host its first offline digital gallery which will avail  guests and customers the privilege  to physically experience its colossal digital catalogue.

The highly anticipated exhibition which holds today and tomorrow will feature original works created by a new wave of pioneering urban artists from across the country.

The event will showcase latest works of popular artists like  Dipo Doherty, Ayobola Kekere-Ekun, Tunde Alara, Ifedoyin Shotunde, Promise O’Nali, Ken Nwadiogbu, John Madu, Abba Makama and Stacey Ravvero.

With exclusive original paintings and limited edition prints, the emerging artist theme has been explored in its broadest sense, the artists’ inspirations range from  current day realities of living in Nigeria, nature, a re-imagined future and dreams.

Speaking on the programme, Curator and Art Critic, Jess Castellote stated: “The gallery is not a gallery in the traditional sense as it exists online, this pop up will be the first of many Artyrama exhibitions where each exhibition and location is curated around a theme. Every piece of artwork on display has a strong concept and technique, which creates beautiful visual pieces to be enjoyed by everyone.

“We have purposely selected a range of pieces for all budgets to encourage the existing and new enthusiasts to be at the forefront of the new movement of contemporary art.”

Another attraction promised at the event is an Art Advisory clinic where interested guests will have the privilege to consult with art experts, talk through artwork and share industry insight on investing in art.
