A former editor with THISDAY Newspapers and currently the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, will today unveil a book that chronicled the high and low points of the former President Goodluck Jonathan administration”

In a statement issued by the media aide to the APC spokesman, Julius Ogunro, yesterday said the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and the Governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatah Ahmed, will play the role of the chief host and host of the book launch respectively.

According to Abdullahi, who also served as a Minister of Youth and Sports under ex-President Jonathan, the book is an exclusive account of the “making and the unmaking” of the Jonathan administration.

The book gives revelations of the intrigues that surrounded the 2015 presidential election and its aftermath.
“On a Platter of Gold is part history, part political thriller, which answers many of the often-asked questions about Jonathan’s incredible rise to the highest political office in the land and his unprecedented electoral defeat in 2015,” Abdullahi stated.

One of most controversial issues which the book attempted to provide answers to was whether Jonathan was weak and clueless, as his traducers have claimed? Or – as his supporters have alleged – was he just a victim of vicious conspiracies by an entitled cabal that would stop at nothing to bring down this ‘intruder’ to power?
The statement also said the Chairman of the occasion will be the Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, while the father of the day is the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Gambari.

The chief presenter will be the Chief Executive and publisher of Ovation International, Chief Dele Momodu, while the book reviewers are Prof. Adigun Agbaje and Mr. Azubuike Ishiekwene.
