AKS Offers Eagles ‘Total Comfort’ ahead Zambia Clash

The Akwa Ibom State government has expressed optimism that the Super Eagles will emerge victorious in this weekend encounter with the Chipolopolo of Zambia.

The State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Mr Monday Uko, said in Uyo on Tuesday that the necessary logistics have been put in place for the Super Eagles to win the match.

“God has delivered them (Chipolopolo) into our hands, and this time around I believe the goals could be as many as 4-0,” Uko posited

According to him, with the expected win during the Eagles clash with Chipolopolo, the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium would continue to be Nigeria’s fortress against visiting teams in crucial encounters.

Meanwhile, Eagles handler, Gernot Rohr, has urged fans to turn out massively to ensure Nigeria takes the maximum point at the end of the crucial encounter with Zambia on Saturday.

He ruled out injury worries, stressing that the players were highly motivated for the big game.
Rohr who supervised the first training session of the team at the training pitch of the Ibom Le Meridien Hotel and Golf Resort further stressed that Eagles would be drilled twice daily (morning and evening) before the clash on Saturday.
