LGiftty is signed to 56 Hoperoad Entertainment and Davs Records. He started music professionally in 2015 after he graduated from the university. He worked with Mr. Eazi in his latest single titled ‘lori okada’, reekado banks, Dtunes and yung L. In this chat with Tosin Clegg, he talks music, his career and more

Tell us a bit more about yourself?

I’m Gift Afele, the divine boy.  I’m a musician and a graduate of Ambrose Alli University in Edo state where I studied Theatre Arts and Media.

What kind of music do you do?

I consider myself a very versatile artiste, I’m not boxed in terms of the type of music I make, so I’ll say I do world music and by that I mean music that can be felt anywhere on the planet – good music.

Who are your musical influences?

Lionel Richie, Wizkid, Fela, Ed Sheeran. I listen to a lot of music, good music, from the past and present.

 What kind of music do you do?

Good African music, soulful music but relatable to by everyone. My fans should expect the best from me; I just put out a new single featuring Mr. Eazi ‘lori Okada’ please check that out, it’s available everywhere online.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself in a bigger and better place with my music and life in general. World Domination!
