Â Netcore Solutions in partnership with WSI Analytics Limited has held a forum for debates on technology and marketing with the theme â€œMaximising the Marketing Moment and Accretion Marketing.â€Â The event, which was graced by hosts and partners, Chief Edirin Abamwa, Managing Director, Axon Analytics; Abithab Bhaskar, Group Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Netcore Solutions, Siddhesh Sawant, Business Manager, Netcore, Nigeria; and Chukwudi Nwokike, Chief Marketing Officer, Axon Analytics, featured interactive sessions where participants learntÂ information on new marketing techniques. Guest Speaker, Bhaskar, while acknowledging the countryâ€™s advancement in technology said: â€œOut of 192 million population over here, 77 percentage of the people have got mobile phones. Thatâ€™s 150 million people. That means, if you remove the old age category and remove the kids, which is not your target audience, 100 percent target audience have mobile phones.â€ Accretion marketing, he affirmed, focuses on engaging existing customers rather than acquiring new ones.Â By using the example of a grocery store owner next to his house who constantly engages him in personal conversations, he explained that leveraging on the existing customer is what accretion marketing is all about.Â
Accretion is the opposite word, the other side of the word. Accretion is engaging with your customer â€¦ ensure that your customer engages with you continuously and gives you much more business,â€ he said.
