Petroman Publications Limited, publishers of Oilweek Newspaper and Petroman Magazine is organising an industry award in recognition of achievements in the oil and gas industry in 2016.
The management in a statement made available to THISDAY, said the award is a major step in the company’s ongoing plan to add events to its portfolio of business.
The statement also stated that the ceremony would hold on May 26, by 7p.m at the Sheraton by Four Points, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The statement further noted that the award would be an annual event including its quarterly petroleum platform where industry leaders would proffer solutions to trends and financial challenges plaguing the industry.
It added that: “The Petroman Oil and Gas Awards (POGA 2017) provide a platform for the Nigerian oil and gas industry to showcase their successes in the course of the year 2016. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the advances made in the key areas of environmental stewardship, efficiency, innovation, corporate social responsibility, health and safety throughout the nation.â€
