Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State have put aside their differences to form a common front as the party strategises towards winning next Saturday’s local government polls in the state and set the pace for winning the governorship seat in the 2019 general election.
Speaking at the commencement of the Gombe State local government council elections campaign on Sunday, a former youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Abubakar Habu Mu’azu, urged the youths to be united, saying there was no fight among the leaders of the party in the state.
“All we are out for as leaders of this great party is the progress of the party. We are out to make sure we unseat PDP in the next election and so, we cannot afford to be divided,” he said as he pledged the leaders’ support for the candidates.
