Amstel Malta, a non-alcoholic brand of the Nigerian Breweries Plc has unveiled its new advertising campaign tagged ‘Why Add More’ Speaking at the Healthractive Session recently in Lagos while unveiling the campaign, Senior Brand Manager, Amstel Malta, Mr. Chidike Onuoha, said the campaign was a response to the yearnings of the brands’ consumers, who, he said were in need of a malt brand that is rich with vitamins and basic nutrients that would guarantee them a healthy living.

Onuoha also stated that the campaign was to reinforce the positioning of the brand as one of the fastest growing malt drinks in the country. “The campaign is a response to the yearnings of our consumers who needed a malt brand that has less sugar content and at the same time contains the basic nutrients for a healthy living. It’s also to reinforce the positioning of the brand. Amstel Malta is reach in vitamins and nutrients.

So there is no need adding more to what is already perfect,” Onuoha said. “Amstel Malta over the years has experienced double digit growth. I will say it’s one of the fastest growing malt brands in Nigeria today. And then, the reason is just obvious; more and more we see that people are becoming more health conscious and they seek the things that will help them or make them live the kind of life they desire. The brand believes in consistency. They brand will continue to talk about what makes it Amstel Malta. One of the reasons why it is Amstel Malta is because the sugar content is relatively low as compared with other malt brands,” Onuoha added.
