PDP’ll Return to Power by 2019, Says Enugu Chairman

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), in Enugu State, Augustine Nnamani on Saturday expressed optimism that the party will bounce back to power by 2019 urging Nigerians to endure the present state of affairs.

Speaking at Amagunze, the headquarters of Nkanu East, Nnamani said the way things have deteriorated in the country had made it imperative for the PDP to return to power “as quickly as possible”.

He charged newly inaugurated members of the Nkanu East Local Government party executive to go all out and mobilize the people ahead of the 2019 elections.

The Chairman called for adequate mobilization and sensitization of the people on the good works of the Governor Ugwuanyi administration, assuring the people on development and more democratic dividends.

Chairman of the Council Area, Hon. Ikechukwu Ubagu, expressed happiness over the efforts of the state government to salvage the local government from its backwardness and infrastructural deficit, insisting that the the best option for his people.
