Guber 2016: Ondo Commissioner Resigns

Preparatory to the November 2016 election in Ondo State, the Ondo State Commissioner for Environment, Sola Ebiseni, has resigned his appointment from the cabinet of Dr Olusegun Mimiko.

Ebiseni, a lawyer, disclosed his resignation in a letter addressed to the governor and personally signed by him.

The former commissioner recalled his discussion with Mimiko on his intention to take over governance of the state after completion of his tenure on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He also recalled his previous work relationship with Mimiko, adding that they had been together for a long time.

Ebiseni, who is from Ilaje Local Government in the Southern Senatorial District, thanked Mimiko for giving him the opportunity to serve the state in the last six years as a commissioner.

The former commissioner is one of the three commissioners in the cabinet of Mimiko, who had declared their intention to contest the November election on the platform of PDP.
