Following the repair works to be undertaken by the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), in the Indoor Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos, the Zenith Bank Basketball Women Final 8 Play-offs scheduled to hold at the venue will now come up between May 7 and 12, 2016.
According to the Secretary General of the NBBF, Patrick Okeke, the revised schedule will see the teams as well as other officials arriving Lagos on May 5 early enough for the technical meeting which comes up a day after.
Matches of the two groups, A and B, will commence on May 6 and run through May 9 while the semi finals and placement matches will hold on May 10, before the All-Star Game on May 11. The final game and third place match will hold on May 12, 2016.
The eight teams that qualified for the play-offs after the first and second phase games which took place in Abuja and Asaba respectively are defending champions Dolphins, Customs, Delta Force and AHIP in Group A while First Bank, IGP Queens, Benue Princess and Plateau Rocks make up Group B.
Meanwhile, the Dstv League All-Star Game will hold as scheduled in the Indoor Hall of the Abuja National Stadium on Saturday, May 14, 2016.
