NeoHomes Unveils Mawa Residence in Abuja

NeoHomes Limited has unveiled Mawa Residence, a residential development in Galadimawa, Abuja, targeting prospective homeowners, including young families, professionals and Nigerians in the diaspora.

The company said the development covers 2.4 hectares and is backed by a Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Certificate of Occupancy (C of O).

Built around the theme, “A Place to Belong,” Mawa Residence is intended to promote a community-centred approach to homeownership, according to the company.

Founder of NeoHomes Limited, Babatunde Ajayi, said the project was conceived to encourage prospective buyers to consider not only property acquisition but also the quality of life and long-term plans associated with choosing a home.

“Homeownership should go beyond acquiring land. It should be about creating a place where people can build their lives, raise their families, establish roots and develop a genuine sense of belonging,” Ajayi said.

The company said the development offers different plot sizes to accommodate varying budgets, residential preferences and building plans, subject to applicable planning requirements.

It also identified Nigerians living abroad as a target market, noting that prospective buyers outside the country may require clear documentation, transparent transaction terms and reliable communication when purchasing property remotely.

Ajayi said responsible development should be supported by sound planning, proper documentation and transparency in dealings with buyers.

Galadimawa, where the estate is located, is among the areas attracting residential development as Abuja expands. The company said prospective buyers should consider factors such as accessibility, land title, affordability and surrounding infrastructure when evaluating property purchases.

NeoHomes said Mawa Residence reflects its approach to residential development, with an emphasis on the long-term needs of homeowners and the communities in which they live.
