Lagos, Nigeria, will play host to more than 400 exhibitors and 7,000 beauty professionals as the 2026 edition of Beauty West Africa opens this November.
The three-day trade exhibition, scheduled for November 24 to 26, will hold at Landmark Centre, Lagos. Organisers say for the first time, thr exhibition will expand across six mega halls featuring more than 400 exhibitors, 60,000 products, and participants from more than 60 countries, making it the biggest edition of the event to date.
The expansion comes as Nigeria’s beauty and cosmetics market continues to attract international manufacturers and brands looking for opportunities in Africa.
As part of preparations, more than 380 pre-qualified hosted buyers are expected at the 2026 edition, with buyers coming from markets including Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Benin, Togo, Kenya, Rwanda and South Africa.
The exhibition is expected to reflect major changes in the global beauty industry, including the rising popularity of Korean skincare, Arabian fragrances, advanced skincare formulations, textured haircare, natural beauty and products developed by emerging African brands.
It will feature international pavilions from countries and trade agencies including China, Turkey, Pakistan, Korea and Taiwan, bringing manufacturers and suppliers of cosmetics, skincare, haircare, fragrances, packaging and beauty technology to Lagos.
According to sources, iK-Beauty will have a dedicated presence through the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, KOTRA, allowing African buyers to meet Korean manufacturers and explore new products and distribution opportunities.
Beyond the glamour traditionally associated with the beauty industry, the organisers are positioning Beauty West Africa as a business-to-business platform capable of driving trade, distribution and investment.
Beauty industry importers and distributors, retailers, salon and spa operators, manufacturers, make-up artists and senior decision-makers are expected to attend.
As consumer tastes continue to change and social media drives demand for new beauty products, the organisers believe Lagos is well positioned to serve as a meeting point between global manufacturers and Africa’s rapidly developing beauty market.
