Accion Microfinance Bank (Accion MfB) has launched a nationwide Regional Customer Forum initiative aimed at strengthening customer engagement, driving service innovation and enhancing customer experience, with the maiden edition held in Lagos as part of activities marking its 20th anniversary.

The Lagos forum, held at the bank’s head office, brought together the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Taiwo Joda, Chief Commercial Officer, Stephen Olalere, members of senior management, area managers and customers from across the state to engage on service delivery, product offerings and the future of banking.

Speaking at the event, Joda said the initiative was designed to provide a platform for direct engagement with customers and gather feedback that would shape the bank’s future products and services.

According to him, “We recognise that the financial landscape is constantly evolving, and customer expectations continue to change. To remain relevant and effective, we must continuously improve our service delivery, embrace innovation, and create solutions that truly meet their needs.”

Also speaking, the bank’s Chief Commercial Officer, Stephen Olalere, thanked customers for their loyalty and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to supporting their personal and business growth. He said: “At Accion MfB, our customers are more than account holders; they are valued partners in our journey. Every interaction gives us an opportunity to better understand their aspirations and identify new ways to support their personal and business growth.”
