Face of Change Nigeria Secures Lagos State Government Endorsement for 2026 Pageant

Face of Change Nigeria, a progressive, impact-driven pageant dedicated to empowering purpose-driven individuals for social change, has received official endorsement from the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture for its 2026 edition.

Face of Change Nigeria is designed to groom strong, intelligent, and purpose-driven individuals who will use their platforms to create meaningful impact. The pageant moves beyond aesthetics to celebrate transformative journeys and inspire positive societal change.

The 2026 edition aims to identify and empower women whose influence will be positive, long-lasting, and will command powerful effect across their communities, industries, and environment. The initiative seeks to raise leaders of tomorrow who will drive social change through resilience, intelligence, and grace.

The organization announced “HER IMPACT” as the official theme for this year’s event, scheduled to hold on October 31st, 2026.

Mrs. Darlene Godfrey-Oduh, President of Face of Change Nigeria, emphasized the shift from beauty to substance.

“HER IMPACT focuses on what you can change, not how you look. The theme digs deep into the influence a woman can bring to her community, industry, and people around her. The word ‘impact’ resonates with leadership. Therefore, we are looking for the leaders of tomorrow to promote social change,” Mrs. Godfrey-Oduh said. She received her endorsement in May 2026.

The winner, to be crowned The Impact Queen, will represent Nigeria at the first-ever Face of Change International. She will also receive a car, cash prize, and other consolation prizes. The reigning queen is Queen Chioma Geraldine, the first and current titleholder.

The 2026 event will also honor selected individuals with the Face of Change Nigeria Icons Award, recognizing those who have made significant impact in society.
