itel Celebrates Children’s Day in Lagos with Creativity, Cheer and Big Rewards

itel Mobile Nigeria marked the 2026 Children’s Day celebration with a colourful and lively event in partnership with NTA Lagos Channel 10, bringing together pupils and teachers from more than 50 schools across Lagos State for a memorable day of fun, learning and celebration.

Held under the theme Imagine. Create. Become. the event was part of itel’s Love Always On Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, which is focused on supporting children, families and underserved communities through impactful engagement and educational empowerment.

The gathering reflected the company’s broader commitment to creating experiences that go beyond products and connect directly with communities.

The venue came alive with music, laughter and excitement as children participated in a variety of entertaining and educational activities.

Dancing competitions, quiz sessions, puzzles, painting exercises and musical performances kept the children engaged throughout the day.

A colourful March Past parade added to the excitement, while the Miss Children’s Day Pageant stood out as one of the major highlights of the celebration.

Beyond the festivities, itel also gave back to attendees by distributing stationery materials and food items to pupils and teachers.

The gesture reinforced the brand’s focus on child development and community support.

The winner of the pageant was presented with an itel City 200 smartphone in recognition of her confidence, creativity and outstanding performance.

Speaking at the event, itel’s ATL Marketing Manager, Dolapo Olorun-nimbe, said the initiative reflects the company’s belief that every child should be encouraged to dream and reach their full potential.
