This May, Lagos will experience a profound exploration of human desire, culture, and resilience as the highly anticipated stage play, “I Wish, I Wish,” hits the stage at the National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos on May 30th.

Serving as a cornerstone of the National Theatre’s curated “May Season”—a vibrant cultural campaign bridging traditional performing arts and contemporary digital expression—”I Wish, I Wish” promises to captivate audiences with its rich narrative depth, brilliant performances, exceptional production value, created and directed by Proud African roots. The play masterfully weaves a tapestry of African storytelling, challenging perceptions and sparking meaningful conversations about our collective and individual aspirations.
