Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to the Olu of Warri Kingdom, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, on the occasion of his 42nd birth anniversary on April 2, 2026.
Also, Chairman of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Indigenous Contractors Forum, Engr. Ogie Samson, has extended warm felicitations to the Olu of Warri Kingdom, His Majesty Atuwatse III, CFR, on the occasion of his 42nd birth anniversary.
The governor commended the revered monarch for his unwavering commitment to promoting harmony and stimulating economic growth in the kingdom since his ascension to the throne.
In a statement issued in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary on Thursday, Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori noted that the reign of the Olu of Warri has brought remarkable transformation to the Kingdom.
He described the monarch’s conduct as admirable, emphasising that his sense of dignity and dedication to duty has continued to elevate the status of the traditional institution.
Oborevwori said, “On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Delta State, I heartily celebrate Your Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri, as you mark your 42nd birth anniversary.
“Your reign has been impactful, driven by integrity, vision, and a strong passion for unity and progress among your people.”
The governor further offered prayers for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and robust health for the monarch, as he continues to lead his people and contribute to the overall development of Delta State.
Chairman of DESOPADEC Indigenous Contractors Forum, Engr. Samson, expressed appreciation to the Warri monarch for his commitment to promoting harmony and stimulating economic growth in the kingdom.
Samson, in a felicitations statement issued yesterday maintained that the reign of the Olu of Warri, since his ascension to the throne, has brought remarkable transformation to the Kingdom.
He described the monarch’s conduct as admirable, emphasising that his sense of dignity and dedication to duty has continued to elevate the status of the traditional institution.
Samson praised the monarch’s role in fostering peace, not only within Warri Kingdom but also across neighbouring communities, describing him as a unifying figure whose influence transcends traditional boundaries.
“The Olu of Warri exemplifies true leadership and selfless service. His wisdom, humility, and compassion continue to inspire all who come in contact with his reign,” he added.
The DESOPADEC Indigenous Contractors Forum chairman offered prayers for the monarch’s continued good health, longevity, and wisdom, expressing confidence that his leadership would sustain the trajectory of growth, harmony, and development in the kingdom.
“As His Majesty celebrates another year, it is my prayer that his reign continues to usher in greater peace, unity, and prosperity for Warri Kingdom and beyond,” he added.
