Amb. Amafibe Attends AU Summit in Ethiopia Ahead of 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit in Morocco
Amb. Kingsley Amafibe, Project Director Africa, 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit and Davdan Peace and Advocacy Foundation has joined other distinguished African leaders and stakeholders at the ongoing African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The gathering marks the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union Heads of State and Government, with active participation from key players in the private and public sector. His presence forms part of ongoing efforts to mobilize continental support and stakeholder buy-in for the upcoming summit scheduled to hold in Marrakech, Morocco, from June 19–21, 2026.
Amb. Kingsley Amafibe is expected to hold a series of high-profile meetings with African leaders and heads of government on the sidelines of the Addis Ababa summit, aimed at securing strategic partnerships and strengthening collaboration for the Morocco event.
The 2026 edition of the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit is being spearheaded by Davdan Peace and Advocacy Foundation in partnership with 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa will convene influential voices across governance, enterprise, and peace advocacy.
With the theme, “Uniting Africa’s Change Makers for Growth and Impact: A Gate to Sustainable Development,” the summit will feature the conferment of honours on the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa, recognizing outstanding individuals whose contributions continue to shape Africa’s progress in governance, business, innovation, and community development.
Amb. Amafibe emphasized that the summit remains one of the continent’s most influential platforms for fostering collaboration, promoting leadership excellence, and driving impactful initiatives.
He added that the 2026 edition is expected to attract high-level delegates, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and peace advocates from across Africa and beyond.
