The MBJ Unity Cup 2025 came to a thrilling conclusion over the weekend, with Fika Local Government Area (Gadaka) crowned champions after weeks of competitive football that united communities across Yobe State. The grassroots tournament, widely regarded as a platform for nurturing young talent and fostering unity, drew dignitaries, traditional leaders, and enthusiastic supporters in a celebration of sport and community spirit.

In a statement following the final, the tournament’s convener, Hon. Engr. Muhammed Buba Jajere, FSESN, MNSE, expressed deep appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the event.
