Hon. Engr. Muhammed Buba Jajere Hails Fika LGA’s Victory at MBJ Unity Cup 2025

The MBJ Unity Cup 2025 came to a thrilling conclusion over the weekend, with Fika Local Government Area (Gadaka) crowned champions after weeks of competitive football that united communities across Yobe State. The grassroots tournament, widely regarded as a platform for nurturing young talent and fostering unity, drew dignitaries, traditional leaders, and enthusiastic supporters in a celebration of sport and community spirit.

In a statement following the final, the tournament’s convener, Hon. Engr. Muhammed Buba Jajere, FSESN, MNSE, expressed deep appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the event. He commended His Excellency, Governor Mai Mala Buni, represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Youths and Sports, for demonstrating the government’s strong commitment to youth development and initiatives that promote excellence.
