Ileriayo Fadeni Mesmerized The Crowd at 2025 Christmas Carol

Full name Ileriayo Temitope Fadeni but better known as Ileriayo Fadeni in the music world, he has always shown creativity and perseverance wherever he find himself, whether in Nigeria or in the United Kingdom, the strategy is the same: doing what he love how to do best, delivering his best performance at every opportunity.

‎Just like he always does, he performed at the 2025 Christmas, Made in Naija Special Carol, which was held at “The Lighthouse Centre, Salford on December 19, 2025. The event had more than hundreds of people in attendance. Adorned in a round neck shirt, black trouser and a sneaker to match, the singer starts off by playing the piano for more than a minute before the first vocals of the session comes up.

‎His session which lasted for more than six minutes had him playing piano to two songs, one Yoruba and the other English, these songs were titled “O come Emmanuel,” and “Elu Agogo,”(means jingle bell). Present were the Mayor of Salford and dignitaries from different tribes in Nigeria within and outside the UK

‎The piano hums as he fiddles with the chord, he gesticulates to the singer as the sound reverberates through the hall, it is loud and clear, the type that will likely catch anyone’s attention. While he is in the piano, his head and upper part of his body moves,they are clearly at work, the cymbals drum align as piano progression gets busier and fuller.

‎At the two minute, thirty seven second mark of the song, an unnamed singer comes up, she sings with the assembled microphone, when she sings,the piano chord progression changes pattern. It now entered a skittering phase, it is not solemn yet it was angelic in nature, it was haunting and beautiful at the same time.

The singer sings “Elu Agogo, Igbala De o,” which means beat the gong, the saviour has arrived. The song highlights the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ileriayo Fadeni’s piano chord playing further brightens the message, it amplifies it and makes it more cool and nice to hear. “Olugbala Ka bo,”she ends her singing session.

With over two decades experience in the music industry, Ileriayo Fadeni has continued to reinvent himself, he gets better with time,whether in Africa or Europe,the story is the same, he creativity has been tested, he has remained resolute in putting his name on the world map, his performance at this Christmas carol further buttress that assertion.
