City Boy Movement Inaugurates LGA, Ward Coordinators in Plateau – State Director Daser David Calls for Unity and Grassroots Mobilisation

The Plateau State Chapter of the City Boy Movement on Thursday, December 5, 2025,
inaugurated its Local Government and Ward Coordinators at a well-attended ceremony held
at Crest Hotel, Jos.
The event drew prominent political figures, including the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Daniel Naanlong, and the former Speaker, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Sanda. Also in attendance was Hon. Suleiman Kwande, former Member of the House of Representatives for Jos North/Bassa Constituency, along with several dignitaries, party leaders, and support groups from across the state.
In his address, the State Director of the City Boy Movement, Daser David, described the
inauguration as “an important milestone in strengthening the Renewed Hope vision of
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across Plateau State.
”He charged the newly inaugurated coordinators to show discipline, integrity, and commitment as ambassadors of the movement: “Your appointment is not a title; it is a responsibility. You are the face of this movement in your communities. Mobilize with wisdom, promote peace, and educate your people on the Renewed Hope agenda.”
Reaffirming the movement’s alignment with the APC leadership in the state, he added: “We remain fully aligned with the vision of the APC in Plateau State. We are not competing with the party; we are partners in progress, committed to strengthening our structures across all wards and polling units.”
He also extended a call to APC members and supporters of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu: “This is the time for unity, partnership, and collective action. The City Boy Movement is your platform. Let us work together to secure a stronger Plateau and a stronger APC.”

The State Director expressed gratitude to sponsors and supporters who contributed to the
success of the event. He acknowledged Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, the Pastor Reuben
Initiative, and several individuals and organisations whose continuous support strengthens
the movement.
“Your commitment and contributions have reinforced the foundation upon which we continue
to build. We deeply appreciate your unwavering support,

Dignitaries present praised the City Boy Movement for its organisational strength and
commitment to deepening grassroots mobilisation. Many described the initiative as timely
and strategic for the political future of Plateau State.
The inauguration marks a new phase in coordinated grassroots engagement as the City Boy
Movement intensifies its efforts to spread the Renewed Hope message across all Plateau
communities
