Imo Monarch, Eze Akwiwu congratulates Gov Uzodimma Renewed Hope Ambassador appointment

The traditional ruler of Ogwuaga-Abba Autonomous Community, His Royal Highness, Eze Duru Oshimmiri Obinna Akwiwu, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Imo State Governor Sen. Hope Uzodimma on his appointment as the renewed hope Ambassador by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Akwiwu, known for his progressive leadership and strong advocacy for peace, unity, and community development, described the governor’s elevation as a well-deserved honour and a national recognition of his outstanding service to Imo State.

The monarch, whose reign has been marked by youth empowerment, diaspora engagement, infrastructural advocacy, and community-strengthening initiatives, emphasized that Governor Uzodimma’s selection reflects both trust in his leadership and the impact of his proven track record.
The traditional ruler highlighted that Governor Uzodimma’s appointment is a direct acknowledgement of his demonstrated achievements across critical sectors in Imo State.

Under his leadership, strategic roads such as the Owerri–Orlu, Owerri–Okigwe, and Owerri–Mbaise routes have been reconstructed, boosting commerce and connectivity.

Health care has been revitalized through upgraded hospitals and diagnostic services, while security collaboration has strengthened community safety.
Governor Uzodimma has also advanced youth empowerment through digital innovation hubs and skills centres, expanded access to potable water, and implemented projects that have restored public confidence, improved livelihoods, and positioned Imo State as a model of purposeful governance.

Eze Duru Oshimiri Atata (lll) Obinna Akwiwu expressed optimism that the governor’s national role, which includes responsibilities for outreach, engagement, and mobilisation, will amplify Imo State’s visibility and strengthen the South-East’s voice in the federal developmental agenda.

He praised the governor for translating vision into action, describing his leadership as transformative, inclusive, and forward-looking.
