Schneider Electric Leads a New Wave of Energy Technology at Innovation Day Nigeria 2025

Lagos Nigeria is set to become the epicentre of energy transformation as Schneider Electric hosts the 2025 Innovation Day on November 11th, bringing together government leaders, business executives, and sustainability experts to explore how technology and innovation can accelerate Nigeria’s energy transition.
Themed “Competitive Advantage Through Automation and Sustainability,” the Innovation Day will explore how digital technology is shaping sustainable growth and building stronger, more reliable energy systems. Attendees will experience how automation, artificial intelligence, and data-driven solutions are enabling industries to operate more efficiently, reduce carbon emissions, and unlock new business value.
At a time when global economies are redefining how industries operate and how energy is consumed, Schneider Electric’s Innovation Day stands out as a call to action. It is an immersive platform for decision-makers to reimagine the future of energy and efficiency in a rapidly changing world.
Expected attendees include top government officials, energy executives, and industry stakeholders, including Adedayo Olowoniyi representing the Honourable Minister of Power; Laurent Favier, Consul General of France in Nigeria; Folake Soetan, CEO, Ikeja Electric; high-level executives from Schneider Electric, other key customers, and partners.
This year’s edition goes beyond showcasing innovation to become a convergence of ideas shaping Africa’s energy future. The event will feature sessions led by Walid Sheta, Zone President, Middle East and Africa, who will provide an overview of regional progress and opportunity; Canninah Dladla, Cluster President, English-speaking Africa, who will spotlight Africa’s role in the global energy transition, amongst other speakers.
