Purch Gadgets Marks Independence Day with Free Medical Outreach, Feeding Programme For Ikeja Community

In a heartwarming display of corporate social responsibility, Purch Gadgets management organized a free medical outreach program and feeding initiative for residents of Medical Road and surrounding areas in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Independence Day. The event, which drew over 500 residents, included free medical check-ups, blood sugar and blood pressure tests, and medication for patients.

CEO of Purch Gadgets, Henry Nnadike, explained that the initiative was driven by the company’s passion to contribute to the community, which began when they first opened in 2015. “We’ve discovered that people don’t prioritize their health, and many get too busy to visit hospitals for check-ups,” Nnadike said. “Our goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians, and today’s event is a testament to that commitment.”

The medical outreach was a huge success, with residents expressing gratitude for the free services. Many were diagnosed with hypertension and diabetes and were provided with medication and advice on managing their conditions. The event also served as an opportunity for residents to learn about the importance of regular health check-ups and preventive care.

Apart from the medical outreach, Purch Gadgets also organized a free feeding program for not less than 500 less privileged people in the community. This initiative aimed to provide nourishment and support to those in need, bringing joy and smiles to the faces of the residents.

During the event, Purch Gadgets launched its new cassette air conditioner, designed to consume low energy and cater to Nigeria’s energy challenges. Nnadike emphasized that Purch Gadgets’ mission is to integrate technology with sustainable energy efficiency, adding value to the Nigerian community.

Renowned entrepreneur Cletus Uzoezie Oragwa (popularly called Zenco), founder of the Zenco Group, unveiled the new product and congratulated the CEO on this achievement, wishing the company greater success. The event concluded with food items being distributed to the residents, further demonstrating Purch Gadgets’ commitment to giving back to the community.
