Hon. Dr. Chief Jim Chimezie Okolo, a respected businessman, philanthropist, and statesman, has paid a condolence visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, following the demise of his beloved mother.

Hon. Okolo, who serves as Chairman and CEO of Jimez Petroleum Resources Ltd., Founder of the Jim Mezie Foundation, and Chairman of the Governing Council of Bridget University, Mbaise, described the late matriarch as a woman of uncommon strength, faith, and dignity. He emphasized that her values not only shaped her family but also extended to her community, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire future generations.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Okolo noted that the passing of a mother is an irreparable loss, but one that must be borne with gratitude for a life well spent in service to God and humanity. “Professor Yilwatda’s life of discipline, humility, and excellence reflects the guidance of a mother who instilled the right values in her children,” he remarked.

Beyond his business and philanthropic commitments, Hon. Okolo also plays significant roles globally, serving as the National Coordinator of Nouvelle Perspective Internationale, West Africa Regional Coordinator of the Universal Migration Enlightenment Centre (UMEC), and Nigeria’s Country Representative of the U.S.–Latin America Chamber of Commerce (USLACC). He stressed that true leadership is built on the foundation of family values, which the late mother of the APC Chairman exemplified throughout her lifetime.

He prayed that God would comfort Professor Yilwatda and his family, granting them the strength to endure this period of mourning. Hon. Okolo further assured the APC National Chairman of his solidarity and continuous support, describing the late mother as a pillar of virtue whose memory will remain evergreen.
