Hennessy, Global Fine Wines Renew Partnership with Great Ejekwu

Hennessy, in collaboration with Global Fine Wines, has renewed its partnership with Great Ejekwu, also known as Datfairboy. The deal extends the relationship between the luxury cognac brand and the Port Harcourt-based entrepreneur, strengthening their presence in the South-South’s hospitality sector.

Ejekwu, who began his career in Lagos before returning to his hometown, operates several hospitality businesses in Port Harcourt, including Friends Beach House (formerly Container Bistro), BlackBox, and Subway Africana. These establishments have contributed to the city’s leisure and nightlife industry. Plans for a new outlet, The Warehouse Food and Bar, have also been mentioned.

According to Ejekwu, his businesses employ more than 300 people. He stated that the partnership renewal represents a significant step for his brand and expressed appreciation for the continued collaboration with Hennessy and Global Fine Wines.

In addition to his work in hospitality, Ejekwu is the founder of the Respect Her Haven Foundation, an initiative aimed at supporting survivors of gender-based violence.
